NETSRV Messages

NETSRV messages pertain to the library shared by NCDware daemons. If you are looking for a message that refers to the NETSRV module but does not appear here, refer to "Messages Common to All Modules".


ACCEPT, accepting module connection from host
Severity:
Information
Explanation:
The NETSRV module has accepted the specified connection from the specified terminal.
User Action:
None

REFUSE, refusing module connection from host

Severity:
Warning
Explanation:
The NETSRV module has refused the specified connection from the specified terminal. This situation usually occurs when access control is enabled, but the specified host is not in the list of hosts granted access privileges.
User Action:
If the specified host should be granted access, enter the host system's name in the appropriate access control list.

SYSERROR, location error on module connection: message

Severity:
Error
Explanation:
The X server has detected an internal error.
User Action:
If you encounter this message, please contact NCD Technical Support.
